A REAL Testimonial from a new blogger: Tammy Typer
(cue sappy music)
I used to have a ton of interesting thoughts. Thoughts on life… love… books… hygiene. But after awhile, I would just forget about them. I wonder where those great ideas are today?
(cue upbeat and encouraging music)
Now, I blog. I write down all the crazy stuff running through my brain. I get to read it and share it with my friends. It only takes a few minutes and my idea is safe and sound, wrapped up in a little blog blanket. Ahhhh. That feels nice.
So want not take a chance, grab a class of Merlot, and join in the fun. You’ll never look back with regret.

I want a puppy. I have a house and a nice sized yard for said future puppy. The puppy would have a human mom and dad and a lot of love. Lately, I’ve been looking at breeder’s websites looking for that perfect puppy (at that perfect price. BTW… since when do puppies cost thousands of dollars?). To get a puppy, many sellers require a home visit to make sure my environment is suitable. They also ask a ton of questions about how you’ll take care of the puppy and how committed you can be to the puppy. Then there’s licensing, deworming, puppy “fixing,” etc. Needless to say, it’s a process. I totally understand that people want dogs to go to a good home. I agree. BUT…
I want a baby. All I have to get is get pregnant. No one’s visiting my home, no one’s asking me how committed I’ll be to the baby. No one knows how big my yard is for the baby to roam and wander (that’s what babies do). The government will help me out with my baby’s expenses if I can’t afford it.
If I had 8 puppies, do you think a breeder would let me have another one? Probably not. But guess what?!?! I can have 18 million babies and no one can do anything.
Of course, you can pick apart my argument, blah blah blah. But just think about the main issue: more thought is put into where animals are placed than where humans are. I think people should have to get a license to have a baby. There I said it. And I can tell you, A LOT of people would not be approved. I’m not going to fuss around with the details involved with making that happen, but that’s what I want.

I get really peeved when people waste opportunities to be creative. For instance, when people get white dogs and name them Snowball. Really? Is that the best name you could think of? My apologies to all owners of dogs named Snowball, but would it kill you to be a little bit more original? Why not go all out and name it Lord Whittier or Alfred Von Blanc? And those are just off the top of my head. Do some research and you could come up with some real gems.
I just think it’s healthy to put the ol’ right brain into action whenever you get the chance. Life is not always easy, so when you are presented with a moment to make it fun and take things a little outside of the ordinary DO IT!

vampire face
So, I have this co-worker and she, like most of us, surfs the net at work. However unlike most of us, she spends her time looking at vampire websites. I don’t think I’m missing the boat on this one: normal people don’t spend their time learning about vampires. So now I can’t help but wonder why she’s spending her time on the vampire sites. Is she a vampire? Should I be worried that sitting 3 cubicles away puts my neck blood within sucking range?
Is she trying to figure out how to solve a vampire problem she’s having in her own life? Should I have a little more sympathy for her? Maybe she’s having a really hard time dealing with the vampire in her life. Like maybe her vampire boyfriend won’t do the dishes and she’s at her wits end. I can’t ask her about stuff like that. I don’t know if anyone can. That’s why she goes to the web. The web answers all.
So many unanswered and important questions. Will this be the end of vampires in my office? Only time will tell.

I always try to up people’s words by added an est. Why not? There is no reason and it makes you seem like you have a cool thing going. I am the awesomest. Who can top that? Not you, that’s for sure. If you want to one up the est movement, make up your own word AND add est to it. Just freakin’ blow people’s minds. Fridgiest. BAM. I may or may not be of sound mind at the moment, so take my advice with a grain of something grainy. Don’t use it at work or somewhere where someone might actually take you seriously.
Tammy Typer writes what’s on her mind. She doesn’t even care.
